ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST

How to Enter

Submit Your Photo(s): Email your entry to info@travelwrangell.com with the subject line "Photo Contest Entry."

Include the Following in Your Email:

• Your full name

• Contact information (email and/or phone)

• Photo title(s) and brief description(s)

• Location and date the photo was taken

Deadline: All submissions must be received by April 28, 5:00 PM.

Contest Rules

• Open to all ages and skill levels.

• Photos must be taken in or around Wrangell, Alaska, and must feature birds or bird-related scenes.

• Images must be original and taken by the submitting photographer.

• Minor editing is allowed (cropping, brightness, contrast, etc.), but no AI-generated images or excessive digital alterations.

• Submit high-resolution JPEGs or PNGs. Limit 3 entries per person.

• Photos will be judged on creativity, technical quality, and how well they capture the spirit of the Stikine River Birding Festival.

• Winners will be reviewed by members of the Convention & Visitors Bureau.

• By submitting, you grant the Stikine River Birding Festival and Travel Wrangell permission to use your photos for promotional purposes online and in print.

Disclaimer

By entering the Stikine River Birding Festival Photo Contest, participants agree to abide by all official contest rules and decisions made by the judging panel, which are final and binding.

Entrants affirm that:

• All submitted photos are their own original work.

• The images do not infringe upon the rights, copyrights, or intellectual property of any third party.

By submitting photographs, entrants grant the Stikine River Birding Festival and Travel Wrangell a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, publish, and distribute submitted images (with photographer credit) for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, print materials, and future festival marketing.

Minors under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter the contest. By submitting a photo, the entrant (and their parent/guardian, if under 18) agrees to these terms and confirms that they have read and understood the rules and disclaimer.

The Stikine River Birding Festival, its organizers, sponsors, and affiliates are not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or corrupted entries. By participating, entrants also agree to allow the use of their name, likeness, and submitted photo(s) in promotional materials related to the contest and festival, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
